WAKANDAI AI Institute working in Africa & Middle East in partnership with Governments Academia and Big Industries to anchor deep regional capabilities in Artificial Intelligence, thereby creating social and economic impacts, grow local talent, build an AI ecosystem and put Africa & Middle East on the world map of AI Technology.
We will run activities and programs to:-
Address major challenges that affect region economy and society thereby promoting bold ideas and the application of innovative AI technologies specially in financial sector, Drones and Robotics.
Broaden tech use and adoption of AI in the MEA Region and groom local AI talents to support industry growth.
Accelerate and grow the AI engineering talent pool and depth in MEA Region, and bring AI to Everyone.
Attract regional and international research funds and grants to support research and development in different areas related to AI inside the region in cooperation with many prestige universities.
Accelerate the adoption of AI by MEA-based companies, organisations and agencies.
Early seed investment in tech potential AI startups (10 per year).
Prepare successful AI startups to be ready for AI Investment Fund.
